    Updated Grendel Bullet List

I've updated the Grendel Bullet List with several new additions and a new data layout. I've eliminated the G7 Ballistic Coefficient because we had so few entries, and added the bullet length and sectional density. The bullets are still identified as Hunting or Target.

The list is now separated into two documents - one listed alphabetically by company name, and the second listed in increasing bullet weight.

There are now 115 bullets on the list, and 63 of them are in LRRPF52's collection. So hm2clark's beer offer is still pretty safe.

Please send me any corrections or additions you find. I'm hoping we can fill in the blanks in these tables.

Also, if you have any of the bullets not in the collection, and would like to contribute, please PM me for where to send.

BWaites - please update the "Grendel Bullet PDF" sticky link to be:
    By Company: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...0April2013.pdf
    By Bullet Weight: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...0April2013.pdf

    Nice work!

Are you waiting for confirmation on new bullets?

Nosler has announced a 120 E-Tip, nothing on their site yet but Midway lists the G1 .497 and 1.4" length.

Nosler's site does have the specs for the 129 Accubond Long Range, G1 .561 and 1.35" length.

              Filling in gaps

BC and Lengths from Load From a Disk and Quickload/Quicktarget. Sometimes they don't agree but manufactures change bullets so these things need constant updating. Also I trust posters w calipers more than some guy entering data.

I have more but I'm hungry, I left out lots of obscure and heavy bullets.

Rick, I got these off of the Remington website, I sent them to LRRPF52 a bit ago too. Note the BCs will be for each load's velocity window. I can imagine the 120 gr Core-Lokt BC in particular might be skewed for Grendel use due to the launch at 3200+ fps from the 6.5 Rem Mag.

                      Nothing on Hawks

Sierra's moly SMKs should match the non-molys.

Punch these in and I'll look it over and see if I missed any (notes got a bit weird).

I trust QL more than LFAD, I've seen some weird numbers from their lengths.

Anybody here tried the GS customs? Theyre pricey but I'll bet they shoot. Like the sp line.

                            GS Custom from their site

                            112 SP BC .523 @ 2400 fps
                            113 SP BC .430 @ 2500

Yeah Ricsmall I've long hoped that GS opening a US plant would bring the prices down. Still twice the price of established domestic monos though.

If the 6.5 GS is anywhere as good as the 7mm version then it will shoot like a house on fire. I get 3235fps from the 120gn GS in my 7x57 with extremely good accuracy. Drops goats like crazy but the cost puts them out of contention at over NZ$2 each and that is US$170 each. Not going to try them in my 6.5 just in case I get perofrmance that I couldnt ignore.

If you go to the 6.5 Grendel on thier page here you will see they have a 95gn HV bullet at 2900fps @ 52214 psi
