  • Small Mag primers & 5.56

    Hi all,
I know this isn't really Grendel related, but I sold her and now have 3000 CCI 450's left. So what is the general consensus on using them to load 5.56 rounds? Other than it's nowhere near as good of a round as the 6.5...

CCI 450's are very popular for reloading .223. You might want to rework your loads if you're at or near max but I doubt you'll notice any significant difference.

I use mag primers for my 223 using H335 on 60gr bullets.

Well, I guess that there is no need to worry about over pressure using the mag primers in a .223. If I only had a clue what ^^^ this meant?

I figured that would be a perfect time to "dispose" of them.
