What is the Case Head diameter of the 6.5 Grendel case
and what shell holder does it take?

It'll take the same as 7.62X39 and .38/.357 (at least my Hornady shell plates do).

Get a shell holder from the same manufacturer as your die. There have been several people, including myself, that have had problems with cases not getting fully resized with mismatched hardware.

There are some that will work together but others won't. For example, RCBS shell holder w/ Hornady sizing die doesn't set the shoulder back far enough. If you have the hardware already, just be aware that you will need to test for proper chambering and lock-up before you load a bunch of ammo.
