BLC-2, 2520, Winchester 748 were the three go to powders for the Grendel when it hit the street.

I always thought BLC-2 was too dirty but a lot of guys swore by it.

If Alexander still has his load data posted, it is on there.

Twenty six of the (currently) 704 Grendel Loads on Ammoguide.com use BL-C(2).

Several loads are available in the Grendel Handbook, particularly Volume 2.

Diane- I used to use BLC2 in an Alexander arms upper 19.5'' barrel. 123 amax and 120 nosler . Right around 30.5 gr BLC2. nice & accurate. 1/2 MOA 100 yds.
never did track the "temp sensitivity" - that could be an issue. I'm always playing with different powders . haven't used BLC2 in the grendel for a while- works in 223 pretty nicely also.
          hope this helps

They also have CCI 400 and 450 primers $6 per 100...

My favorite Grendel powder, good velocities and excellent accuracy with 120-123 grain bullets. I haven't noticed it to be especially dirty myself. It does meter nicely from powder measures.

Thanks, I'll be loading some 123gr SMK's with BLC-2 later today...

BL-C2 is the only powder that I have seen affected by temp , but this was in 308
