I really didn't want to buy them at this price. Unfortunately, looking into the future with Europe and politics I don't see an actual emotional reprieve for the gun community until after a republican gets into the White House (to be determined).
So I bought them...

The last lead smelter in operation in the US was in Missouri and it closed a few years ago because of EPA regulations. Any lead has to be reclaimed from old products or imported which drives up cost. The cost of lead acid batteries for automobiles are a lot more expensive along with lead shot and lead for bullets.

Not in my opinion. They do usually run a bit higher than the 450's, their performance is about the same as, but this $190 is way too high, I've seen them for $115-120 where the 400/450's run 85-90.
There's also some cci 41's that pop up, again about like 450 in performance, but with the mil-spec cup hardness."Down the floor, out the door, Go Brandon Go!!!!!"
