My thoughts exactly and no different to where I live.
The type of police who know the 5kg limit would be specialist Firearms officers and there for a more serious reason. The average local officer wouldn't care about your reloading gear. They would take your weapons and go.
For checks, our police have to give reasonable notice (a few days) and they don't get to search the house. It's only happened once for me, they checked the safe was bolted to the wall and that was it, very polite. Every now and then they do checks but unless you are on their radar you may as well be 'Powder Pete' with 100kg of H4895 under the bed.

You have to take in account that the italian law is not allowing us to detain more than a total of 5kg of powder. If you relaod several different calibers, it is a limitation for your purchase. Vectan and Rottweill, I think they are not distributed here. Maybe Vectan was available, but some 10 years back or so.

IMR 8208 XBR most accurate loads are often near maximum recommend load, also be carful not go over maximum in load manuals because pressure spikes quicker with IMR 8208 XBR than other powders.
