    Trimmed my cases TOO short???

    Boys,
I just trimmed 100 Laupa cases 5/1000 too short.

What now, shoot them, throw them away....etc.....

    Thanks,
    Chuck

Yep, totally ruined. Send them to me and I will waive the disposal fee!

Just shoot and reload them until they grow back in spec. (about 5 times?)

As an side note, what length did you trim to? Different loading sites list different min/max/trim to/ case lengths

                    CJ,

As long as the neck still holds a bullet as tightly as you want then it is a non-issue.

The popular convention is that there should be at least as much neck gripping the shank as the diameter of the bullet. At 1.505", and depending on your cartridge OAL you will have approx 7mm of neck gripping the bullet...not a problem (Ref, Quickload).
