Maybe on a 6.5-284, 6.5-06 or a 264 Win Mag. I bet they’d intrude on the case capacity of 6.5x55 Swede, 6.5 CM or 260.

So that's one in the "no" category.

6.5x55 with the original throat should eat those up no problem.

The 153gr A-Tip is surprisingly close to fitting in the mag while touching the lands. If I backed off .020" it would probably fit. The 150gr SMK is about .200" from fitting in the mag. 135gr A-Tip might actually be a good fit in a Grendel if you're into heavies. I'm not interested in the lighter A-Tip so someone else will have to try it out.

I wouldn't have a problem at all running that 153 A-tip in my howa. Sure wouldn't make a ton of speed but it sure would be a short range game hammer.

                        They're $.75ea, I don't think I'd use them for short range shooting.

If you want a short range hammer, why not the Hornady 140 flat bottom, spire point I think?

Because I like being diffrent lol. You know what could be better some 153 A-tip handloads from my 16 inch AA barreled 6.5 grendel packed in six8 pmags.
