    Barnes 6.5 bullet difference?

I have been studying up on bullets in the 6.5 mm range and have a question I have not been able to answer myself.
Barnes 6.5 120 TacX bullets seem to be the same as the 6.5 120 TSX bullets in weight, length and load data. The only difference I can find is in the description that the TacX is reported to penetrate barriers better than cup and core bullets. Well, I would hope so from a monolithic guilding metal hollow point, but I cant find any other information to differentiate them from the other Barnes guilding metal bullets.

    Anyone help a noob?

According to the barnes tech I talked with they are the same bullet. Unless they changed something in the last 2 years.

I asked Barnes the same thing awhile back.

They are they same, it's just marketing.

Grayfox, don't worry. While yall sleep I read. One of the advantages of recovery time from shoulder surgery.
Still, I really like how easy yall are to ask questions of and how quick yall are to reply.
I have left other fourms that, well, were not.

In fact, when I did contact barnes, both bullets had the same part number on their website. At the time, tsx pills were 3 dollars cheaper than the tac-tx. I was curious and just had to find out.

                Barnes guilding metal bullets.

Has Barnes switched to Guilding metal from all copper bullets?
