I don't think they are looking very hard.

Part of the reason Hornady is doing so well is that they are consistently what is readily available, plus they turn out a decent product.

Your most likely correct on that.

Like I said above if a bullet is not going at least 2800fps,it doesn't need a Bc over .400. Sierra's opinion not mine.

Lol sounds more like a tech's opinion and a very poor one at that.

If I recall, Sierra recently sold out to a big Corp. I’m sure the suits will be looking for big moving items.

The tech seemed open to suggestions but the r&d boys were not.

                        Lmao ^^^^what he said ^^^^^

Since y'all opened this door. I have a friend that is a big time 1000 yard target junky, he dropped like 4grand on a top shelf 224 valkyrie.

I got a chance to go with him to the range a few times, he never got past 600 yards. His words (This crap ain't any better then my 223 wyld upper).

He had his built with a 24 inch barrel and was running handloads, it was very accurate but from what I could tell it didn't seem to do any better on 6 inch swingers then his 24 inch 223 wylde upper.

For the life of me I can't understand why so many companys won't even consider the grendel for development, while the few company's that have can't keep stuff on the shelf it sells so fast.

But when you call and talk to tech's about things you would like to see they tell you the grendel is dead.

I'd really like to see sierra pound us out some ammo. But it might be a while. Hornady really saw potential, and are reaping the rewards. And thanks to sneaky, I'm sure he had a few fingers in the soup, federal is supporting grendel. Since sierra changed business models they have plenty to deal with. Keep hounding them. I hope I can see the day remington realizes what they are also missing out on. As well as Winchester etc. Companies see money, nothing else. It's been a long road watching the lil 6.5 that can. The grendel keeps going!!
