I like them better than the ELD-M.
I dont think expansion wise there is a huge diff in the 123s, but there was a big test on the UK predator forums and the 140s do not expand as reliably or as violently as the 140 AMAX.
Expansion on the 143 ELD-X mimics the AMAX almost to a T.
But the 143 are a hell of a lot longer and a bit more finicky to load than the 140 AMAX.
I stashed up on the AMAX so much when I heard they were discontinuing them that I dont think my kids will ever need to buy a 6.5 bullet in thier lifetime...lol

I've had excellent results with 123gr A-AMAX as well for many years.
I only have several hundred left. It doesn't take up as much case capacity as the longer 123gr target bullets out there.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO
