Glad to see someone else using that bllet in the Grendel. My load is 30.6gr CFE223 2.270 COAL in Lapua brass.

Like stated above that is safe in my rifles but always work up in your gun starting below that

I e cali- awesome data. You texted it to me this wknd., yet forgot distance and bbl., lengths.

We needa shorter name - for you., Hmmm. ICE --- that sounds better? Or IEC .

Kinda like I'm an Escapie from cali.

        Or, I'm Cali Escapie---

I like ICE. I had dinner a few times with this guy. He can explain his job , better than most. He's a very decent shooter.

plus his chosen profession involves cold items. His data from ABLR will be transferred to my 129 SST,s .

Yes I use copper only,, yet the heavy is in a 5 rnd mag in pocket for a long shot.

        Thanks dude!

        ICE man!---- Perfect.

Spent some more time at the range with this, today. Also new this trip is my Larue MBT trigger (two enthusiastic thumbs up!). Loaded 4 different seating depths from mag length 2.650, 2.645, 2.640, & 2.635”

Results as follows. Shot at 200 yards

            2.650”: 2407, 2374, 2381, 2370, 2378. Avg 2382, ES 37, SD 13.04. “Pattern, strung vertical about 8”. Garbage.
            2.645”: 2347, 2350, 2403, 2390, 2401. Avg 2378, ES 56, SD 24.6 3.5” group
            2.640”: 2401, 2365, 2390, 2359, 2361. Avg 2375, ES 42, SD 17.04 3.7” group
            2.635”: 2388, 2383, 2377, 2398, 2395. Avg 2388, ES 15, SD 7.68. 3.20” group

There’s a reason for the big, stupid group, but not an excuse.

Happy Saturday, y’all. Season opens Tuesday.
