    Look at the burn rate chart. That will give you an indicator of use.

    It sits between 2230 and 2520, I would use the 2230 starting load and work up in .3gr increments watching for velocity spikes.

    I don't have any experience with extruded powders. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

    Catchy sig line here.

      I've used a ton of it in Garand 30-06 loads as it is a match with IMR 4895 or very close to it. It is slightly smaller kernels than the IMR version. I have tried it and get great accuracy but not usually the velocity that I can get with other powders. I bought it when powders were very hard to get. I also have their versions of 4064 and 4350 and they work fine also, in fact I use the 4350 in a 6.5 Creedmoor with stellar accuracy and decent velocity.

        I went ahead and loaded the 107SMK, Accurate 2495, CCI450s, 2.235”, starting with 26.3gr, and working up. Chronograph wasn’t working, since the sun was overhead, with no cloud cover (I’ll go early, next time). I got a few readings, which I’ll include, for what they’re worth:
        26.3gr=2267
        28.4gr=2418
        28.6=2448
        29.2=2533
        The smallest group (.491”) was at 29.2gr. The next best was .891” at 27.2gr. With near zero velocity data, I’ve got no idea about pressure spikes, but all primers are still rounded at the edges, without craters or flattening. My ejector leaves marks on factory loaded rounds, so I’m not sure if I can interpret them as pressure signs.

        I also had some Nosler Ballistic Tip 100gr bullets, which I loaded, also using the Accurate 2230 data, found in the Grendel Handbook. Starting at 26.1gr, and working up, I got a .436” group at 27.1gr, and a .454” group at 28.6 gr. Zero Chrony data for any of these. Hard to know what to think, but those are about the smallest groups I’ve ever shot.

          Just did some research and Sierra does list some load data for XMR 2495. According to Accurate Powders web site the Prefix of XMR was dropped from XMR 2495 once Accurate Powders was purchased by Western Powders and current 2495 powder is the same but just referred to as Accurate 2495 or A-2495. Sierra’s latest data shows XMR 2495 being used with 6.5 Grendel 120, 123 and 130 grain projectiles. The max charge was approximately 1 grain less than TAC. Another unusual aspect of Sierra data is they reference both Xterminator powder and A-2230 which have the exact same data in Western number 6 loading manual.

          Sierra’s load data is slightly different between Xterminator and A-2230 with the same bullet. I noticed these same results in Sierra data for 223 Remington plus 6.5 Grendel. I wonder if this slight difference is because of different lots of powder or the actual chemical makeup of A-2230 is slightly different. I can not see any difference when visually looking at A-2230 and Xterminator.

            Here's some load data I just came across. A-2495 looks outstanding.

              Interesting article, author seemed to get some very positive results, and a new found love for the MSR platform.
