2000-MR is one of my main heavy bullet .223 powders and a great 7mm-08 powder also. I can't find much info for the 6.5 Grendel and MR-2000. Anyone here using it in the Grendel?

I tried an OCW spread with it and I had a flier in every group. Then I found out about its pressure spikes at high temperatures and since I live where it's hot much of the time I went back to AR-Comp. Speer has a few published loads with it in a Grendel.I'll be yer Huckleberry.

Edit: By faster, I mean higher velocities.

2000-MR in .223 and 7mm-08 I have went over max and no pressure signs in my guns. It does not take up as much room in the case as a stick powder. Burn rate I believe is a bit slower than RL-15. I saw a video for .224 Valkyrie and the powder highly resembled 2000-MR. 6mmAR Turbo has some data for 2000-MR so in my head thought would be a good powder for Grendel. It seems to be faster and shine with heavy bullets for caliber like 70 plus in .223 and at least in 7mm-08 like 140 plus.

I'd love to see your thoughts on it. Others have said it spikes with higher temperatures.

Are we talking average summer temps in the mid to upper 90's or higher?
If one lives in a climate that summer is average 80's and occasionally bumps into the 90's then the temp sensitive powders may be doable.Sticks
Catchy sig line here.
