VihtaVuori N133 - Speer 90g TnT (high velocities!!)

While searching for and finding my Chrono, I found my log book! As I was thumbing through the pages I found some unmarked Chrono slips, found the corresponding data and filled them out. I had completely forgotten about these!

Did you check your brass on the high velocity shots?

Wow thats really neat. I didn't think we would see a pill launched over 3k fps with the grendel. I'd be very curious what you could get out of an 85gr with a 24" barrel

          How was the accuracy?

          Thanks, Dinny

Yes! There were none of the "typical" pressure signs. That is why I produced the loads several times, and fired it in 2 different rifles.

Either did I, especially from an 18" tube. And 2800fps from my 12.5" tube. I have also seen 3k with 100g Amax and CFE, but only from my 24" tube.

With very little effort, I was able to manage 1+ moa@100 yds

Thanks Bwild! I've been having a lot of fun shooting these with great accuracy and velocity from my 18" barrel. Looks like I'll be experimenting with this powder next. I'll start low and work up of course. This is from Midway's site about this bullet:

"Speer's TNT Bullets also offer a minimum bearing surface which creates a bullet with a long nose and trajectories that rival those of bullets of similar weight, making these the perfect varmint eliminating bullet."

I'm finding this to be true.
