    CFE223 and temperature sensitivity

I'm new to reloading hoping to start soon with Grendel. Where I shoot it goes from 20's in winter to 110 in the summer. I'm looking at cfe223. Any problems here? I'll be looking to use 129 accubond long range bullets.

Thanks that seems like a great resource. Probably look into the leverevolution instead.

Wait, did I miss something? I haven't used it yet, but I didn't see anything to indicate that Leverevolution has better temperature stability than CFE.

Just the spread sheet he linked. Could be off I need to look into it more. But according to the link the cfe is pretty sensitive to temperature changes.

Right, but I don't see any numbers for the leverevolution temperature sensitivity.

Going to be testing some loads with 2000-MR powder in the next few weeks, that powder has been reported to me as being more temp stable than Varget and is a ball powder so metering is good. I am only planning to try it with Berger 130 hybrids and 129gr Accubond Long Range bullets since it is a good powder with the heavier 223 and 308 with heavier bullets, though why not give it a try. Will post results in a new thread when I have results of those loads.

I like my loads for CFE223 and both of those bullets but thought if can find another powder that works and is less temp sensitive will be a good thing. Might run into it being a little slow or run out of room in the case but will give it a try since I got a pound of it. If it doesn't work will shoot up the rest in the 223 with 75gr bullets.
